My current focus is on massively parallel simulations of fibre optic communication systems. This involves the study of rogue waves in supercontinuum generation, CO-OFDM and DQPSK in addition to HPC scalability studies of the new simulation code.
The work is in collaboration with Warwick University in the UK and Osaka University in Japan.
