I have been involved in several Knowledge Transfer Projects and INDEX projects.
I worked with Key Systems on their KeySCAPE product. The project involved a redesign of the system, using object-oriented design prinicples, building in the potential for further new and advanced features to be included later.
I work with Keynetix on a project to develop web services the the geotechnical industry. We created an XML format for Geotechnical data and a paper describing that work won the best paper award at [REF].
I worked with KC3.net which involved Stuart Leworthy who was an MSc student at Aston University at the time. The aim of the project was to make their content management system, ACMS, conform to the W3 Web Accessability Guidelines. The work done on that project was shortlisted in the ICT Excellence awards in 2008 coming second to a PhD project, also from Aston University.
I worked with a colleague, Dr Sylvia Wong on a project for Qnomic. We created a multimedia-based system for CVs as part of a larger system that they were developing.
I am working with J & AB Associates to redesign a database to eneable them to better make business decisions based on the content of that database. We are also implementing a web front end for the system.
