Eye in the Sky
The aim of this project was to launch a hot air balloon containing a camera so
that we could take some measurements between some points on the ground.
To complete this task we moved into different strands, each strand working on
different sections of the project; the strands are:

Karting
On Friday night, we set out to The Grand Prix Karting park to have a go at karting. For many of us it was our first time so there was a bit of apprehension but excitement about driving a kart at high speeds. After a long but important safety talk, we grabbed our equipment and headed off to the racecourse. Taking care to get on the kart in the correct manner, we waited for signal to set off. Among us there were some noticeable competitive drivers who went full out on speed. For other more cautious drivers, braking was used often and slow speeds were marinated for the majority of the race. Despite a few crashes and the showing of yellow flags and the occasional black flag,, the outing proved to be a success with everyone having a fabulous time, despite cold temperature!
